Time Wins!

This song kills me, lately this life has killed me and I’ve let it. A diabetic mother who at 66 is closer to the end then the begging for sure, a 41-year-old son who she is still waiting on to get it together. All that time you thought you had at 30 and now the past 11 years have gone by like they never happened. They say all that shit about you will look back on it one day and what will you look back on? Looking back, boy that’s the hardest thing in the world to do, because the time I wasted wins. “Life can only be understood by looking backwards, but it must be lived, by looking and moving forward. It’s okay to look back on your past and learn from it, but just don’t dwell there for too long. See the past is dead and gone, and if you stay there too long, you will be too. So no matter what you are going through today, no matter what you are dealing with today, never give up, just because you feel defeat. The journey to the other side is only attainable by moving forward. So place one foot in front of the other, even if you don’t know where you are going. Then go out there today and make your day great, go be amazing and go be a badass and go be uplifting.” I kind of like it, defeat only wins if we stay in the same place, defeat only wins if we let it, defeat can’t win if we keep moving forward.
