That was the question Oregonian and ESPN news anchor Neil Everett said today on Sports Center! It could have been me walking into the gym, it could of been me at the high school I coach at, it could have been your work or your child or loved ones school, so let’s answer the question. I was bullied, didn’t kill anyone, is it because everyone is afraid to discipline their kids? Is it this is it that, riddle me that and still ten more dead. You only have so many hours in a day, you only have so many hours in this life to do something about it. 9 dead, let’s assume in right and their in Heaven, God rest their soul, but what if I’m wrong? What if this is it and there is no pearly gates and it’s just a dirt nap. We all need faith and something to believe in, but those two things are hard to find after tragedies like this. So honor them, don’t live your life in fear, don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do something and one last thing as Sly Stallone says, live your life-like this. “Ain’t nobody going to hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you get hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done, now if you know what your worth go out and get what your worth. But you have to be willing to take the hits and not point fingers and say I’m not where I want to be because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t us folks, were better than that.” So maybe it’s time we start acting like it…..
